Microporosity of the object to be pasted
The adhesion of the protective film is achieved through the process that the moisture in the adhesive on the film surface penetrates into the object after pasting and then dries quickly, thus integrating the film with the object. Therefore, the surface microporosity of the target object is crucial for selecting the right protective film. If the object has high microporosity or strong moisture absorption, a protective film with fast-curing adhesive should be selected. On the contrary, a film with slow-curing adhesive or one containing a higher amount of adhesive is preferred.
Adhesive on the surface of the protective film
Manufacturers apply adhesive to the liner of the protective film, which is usually fully dried before being wound into rolls. If the film remains overly moist, it will stick tightly to itself, making it difficult to unroll during use, and some films may even become completely unusable.
